We haven't gotten a recall yet. I don't even know if a TSB has been issued and that really does suck.
Agreed. Kinda wished I had the option of a six speed. I've been able to overcome the 2nd gear lag by feathering the throttle up to 3k before it shifts. Also didn't mean to insinuate anyone was a grannie to who didn't wish to be one.
There have been software updates available to fix some of the issues but i have not seen a full recall yet
This ^^^ The dealerships around me don't know what's going on even though everyone and their mother does.
Worse shifting vehicle i have ever owned , goin to drop jeep off monday morning. Slams into gear every morning i start jeep. Revs up to 5k to shift if im going down hill, and when it does shift it throws out a burst of acceleration ( im scared to let my girl drive this thing). I can feel every single shift breaking my neck no matter how i drive it. Only 1915 miles on it. Other then the damn transmission its my favorite jeep. Sent from my LG-H631 using Tapatalk
Got a bcm update , power train control update and a drive module update today on mine. Drove alot smoother on the way home. Still shift like shit from take off. Also fixed my antenna while they had it. I need my oil in 1k miles so ill double check for more updates then for transmission. Sent from my LG-H631 using Tapatalk
Im still not happy, i just went up there and asked them to check of there was uodates while they had it . i had 2 transmission lights he said Sent from my LG-H631 using Tapatalk
Had jeep at dealer today. The tech is escalating my complaints to jeep about the transmission shifting. As far as keys getting stuck in renegades. Chrysler is aware of it as a known problem but are working on a solution still. My service manager was very helpful and concerned to make these issues right which is making this less stressful of a problem. Sent from my LG-H631 using Tapatalk
Sounds like he gar u some hope. Which is worthless. Answers and updates and let all jeep service people know
How did you get the BCM Update? My latitude 2.4L is not shafting seems to get stuck in 3rd. Getting on the highway push on gas and nothing! Have to let my foot of the gas then slowly push gas again to get going. Not happy! Same thing with the key as well.
