They tore mine apart, said they replaced the TSB, it's work since. No more lag on take off... lol. Only problem I have now is it won't maintain speed and is constantly shifting on the highway with cruise control set. It drops 3 gears on an overpass

It should drop to 4th to pass on the highway.

They will not admit there is a problem with mine.

I took mine back to the dealership 40 mins from my house 4 days ago , left it for 96 hours , picked it up and they had told me there is nothing wrong with the shifting on the jeep.

They drove it 5 miles while they had the vehicle. How can you diagnose a transmission shifting problem in 5 miles?

This is the customer service lake norman chrylser jeep dodge.

Emily insist they diagnosed the jeep having zero shifting problems and they are 100% confident that the techs are correct that my jeep shifts right. But if i dont feel they arent i need to find another dealership myself and take it there on my dime because they can not have an engineer look at the vehicle untill the problem Is diagnosed by their dealership technitions(which have zero training on the zf9 speed)

Well once its diagnoised why the hell would a engineer to look at it? I need the engineer to diagnoise the problem.....

    Thats ass backwards logic.

I have spent countless phone calls begging emily to have a quailfied engineer or a higher up mechanic come look at my jeep and explain why my jeep is shifting why it does and her response is..

"They are not going to give this information to a customer."

Tested ALL shifting upshifting and downshifting patterns in a 9 speed that has up to 56 different shift patterns in less then 5 miles (because remember after they decided that my jeep shifted correctly they still had to drive back to the dealership.)

Shifts the exact same as the first time they admitted the jeep was shifting harsh. On 12/10/15. Its now 2/27/16 still fighting the same issue.

    Absolutely no different!

Monty (tech 3087) told me that it still was shfting horrible himself. Then told me id need to drive it 350 miles for it to learn my driving habits.

    NOTHING HAS CHANGED

After it took up to 3 seconds to respond to the throttle randomly, usually when I was turning out in traffic or making a left. I told them if they didn't fix it I was done driving it. It did it to them a couple times, rolled 20' before responding

So is this a tranny design problem or a software problem?

Took mine in and they ended up replacing my rear differential due to the 4wd problems and rough gear change around 6th or 7th gear. I've had it a few days with no problems (haven't had a chance to test the 4wd yet though).

I was told by Joe at mopar that the zf 9 speed in the jeep renegade is a harsh shifting transmission and that they will do nothing about this until my jeep leaves me stranded again.
Because it is not throwing any codes.

I will never own another jeep brand vehicle again. They have told me multiple times it is my responsibility to diagboise their vehicle for them.

I cannot accept that a cooporation knownly has a unsafe product on the market that is putting me and anyone that shares the road lives at risk.

    Good luck with your renegades.

Call joe at 586 214 6856 if you have questions

    Or emily at 2482962660

They will gladly tell you that jeep renegades are made to shift harshly from zf and its not thwir problem if your family gets killed in a accident because their transmission hesitates while accelerating into traffic and slams into gears and has random burst of acceleration.

    Cory,

I’d like to make sure your concerns are being properly addressed. As previously discussed, an appointment has been scheduled to conduct a ride-a-long with the technician to further diagnose your concerns. Please don’t hesitate to follow up with me, should any additional concerns arise prior to your appointment.

    Thank you,

Get a lemon law lawyer, they are already in hot water over the Ram trucks. Sorry you're having so much trouble. I told the fix mine back in October or I'm done driving it. They fixed it.

I have the same issue. The thing is, it happens randomly. And since there's no warning light on the cluster, my local shop/dealership won't take a look at it. They said it was normal the last time I tried to get an appointment.

Same thing with me (read my earlier posts). I finally was able to repeat it on a ride a long as JeepCares suggested and they tried their best to diagnose it which ended up in replacing the rear differential. You need to try and repeat it for them because there is nothing they can do if they can't repeat it on their own or no codes come on.

    Work with JeepCares

Will try that one out. Hopefully it's just the software. It seems like it's lagging at times. I'm gonna see if I can recreate it.

I've recreated my problem 3 different occasions at two different dealerships of the both guys admitted that the transmission was shifting harshly they still will not do anything come on good luck they want me to again recreate the problem for a fourth time after I already have it in writing that it is Shifting harshly. This will be my 13th visit to the dealership for just this problem trying to diagnose it on my own because they will not drive my Jeep more than 3 miles if I drop it off.

What ever you do .... Go buy a fucking toyota. Jeep has the worse customer service ever.

Emily has called me a liar multiple times. She has me go to a dealership at my cost the day after i picked my jeep up because the Chrysler engineers missed something.. So i wasted 5 hour of my time to drive it back to the dealership and NO ENGINEERS EVEN LOOKED AT MY JEEP THE TECHNICIAN ONLY DRPVE IT 5 MILES AND SAID THERE WAS NOTHING TO DO!!

explain to me how the tech and decide there is nothing to do before he talked to emily and did not open a star case what so ever.

It is one thing to have your customers drive a vehicle up to a dealership drop it off for visit and have them tell you nothing is wrong.
But to have me drive BACK up there to not even look at the fucking jeep?

Fuck you emily and fuck you joe

I will never buy another FCA product again.

You are the most unprofessional cunts i have ever met.

This is my 7th brand new jeep and will absolutely be the last one i ever own.

    Good luck with your.

Harshly shifting zf 9 speed automatic that was designed from zf to shift harsh. ( FUCKING HORSE SHIT )
