Does anyone have any clue how to permanently disable the traction control on the 2015 trail hawk. I believe even with 4low and lock it still activates the traction control which cause a loss of power when trying to pull out of a mud hole and such.

I'm sure there is a way but I've found the traction control to be extremely useful and wouldn't want to turn mine off. Of course, I have rocks out where I am and not so much mud.

Well rhis is what happens. I hit the mud and try to power out. You hear the motor scream loud then power down. It feels as though I have applied the emergency brake and will not go anywhere. Wheels not spinning no power just stuck. When I get pulled out everyone says they didn't have to pull much and the jeep crawls right out. I believe it's the traction control applying to much brake to keep from wheel spin

When you're in the mud, do you have your 4WD LOW mode set to MUD?

Have you tried leaving it in 4WD LOW and manually shifting into 1st gear?

That I have not done yet. I guess it will be the next option.

All in all I did great at the JWJ Event in Florida for being the only Renegade there. Bone stock. And still did the course. Only got stuck 3 times. Twice in the same spot as all the other wranglers. And once in a spot that I should have made it. See attached picture. I was stuck in that after about half way through

Nice! I would definitely try the 4WD LOW and manually shift it into 1st gear. What that will do is lock your front and rear drive shafts together and give equal drive to both. Shifting manually into 1st will give you the most power and it should hold there.

Per the book, push Trac control button, hold for 5 second, but it's not permanent, turn off your car, and will reset.

But will it be permanent for that start. And then reset when you shut off the car.
