If your interested Madness has a ported throttle body, installed last week. Had issue just looking at it. .. one time use clamps from the factory. Called Maddness, sent them the pic, they had no idea.

How do you get that off?

Ends up that is a clamp holding the crimp tight, you slide the outer ring 90° to the band, it will slide right off.

Once that is removed it's very easy to clip the crimp of the clamp because it is split in two. You will then need to remove the other clamp and remove the tube, you cannot leave tube on and have space to remove throttle.

4 bolts to remove throttle, 2 16mm on top and 2 T27 star drive underneath.

There is a small gasket with a little nib, the nib goes towards front, you can just see the gap above (left side).

Reverse process to put back together, you will need two clamps, 2+ inch and 3+ inch screw clamps are what I used, you can get pretty, more modern if u want.

2 hour install and I went very slowly

Ported/Polisher/ Bored throttle body benefits? More air = more power, smooth bore less resistance to incoming air. How much benefit.. ...um...hard to say, questionable. But the 1.4L Turbo is used in Dodge Dart and 500 Abrath. Some claim improved throttle response.

Inexpensive bolt on part, is what makes it irresistible.

The fans will tell you HUGE improvements in power. The reality of it is... well, it's questionable at best. But, to each their own.

Not huge at all, but a piece of a plan, add a cold air intake a cat back exhaust and your engine can breathe easier, less effort to pull air (read oxygen) in, get more air in then faster, easier path out. Your engine spends less horse power breathing and more gets to the wheels. Some consider your engine an air pump.
