I have a black TH and I notice that my paint scratches VERY easily. Does anyone else have this problem? Also any bike rack suggestions
I just took my orange one off roading thru some pines in colorado last week. Had some tree drag. Sap and scratches but they washed off i thought i was screwed. Thats all i can share also dying for a bike rack. And ur black looks great
I love the black. I washed yesterday at a self serve car wash and when I got home there were huge huge scratches across the front. I did it myself and no other part was scratched. But I think the hose from the water source may have slid across the front. And it left huge marks. I've never had a car scratch so easily.
I don't know, I love black and used to own nothing but it on all my vehicles but moved over to white as keeping them scratch free is so hard to do. What I might recommend is using some black polish as that has always worked for me to help remove them.
For sure - the paint seems very thin and scratches way too easy. I used to recondition and there is very little paint and clear coat. I have an issue into Jeep for a thin spot on the hood where I can see the primer. Black TRailhawk
Maybe it's the black trail hawk then. That's the color and model I have. FCA advised me to see a dealer but they have no idea.
ALSO, in the engine area where the inside of the front body area are visible. The black pain does not exist, but rather there is a puke green color that I am not sure if its the primer. This is the first car I've had that the paint color did not carry into the engine compartment
