Getting ready to install a Daystar lift on Renny, our 2015 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk and decided to pick up a set of new 16" wheels so that we could run bigger and more aggressive mud terrain tires. Being that the selection of aluminum wheels wasn't much to our liking and that we weren't 100% sure any ol' 16" one would work, we decided to go with steel wheels. And, while there were a few out there that could work for cheap, like a set of Dodge Dart wheels, we wanted something with a bit more style. After doing some research, we found that a set of Chevy HHR wheels came in a 16" diameter and with a 5x110 bolt pattern just like we need. The offset was off by a millimeter but that would make a difference at all. Anyway, we picked up a set for cheap on eBay and they just came in today
The same wheel was used on a lot of GM cars. I think the Aurora had them as well. Either way, there are a lot to be found on eBay.
I haven't tested them out just yet to make sure but, there really should be no reason why they wouldn't fit as is.
I thought I read somewhere there may be clearance issues on the trail hawks due to the rotor size. Also, do you know how much these weigh vs the stock aluminum wheels?
