Did they ever recall tranny?

I had the complete opposite experience with Emily... Don't mind your shared experience, but don't really appreciate the anger expressed on this forum...

 

They have costed me 2500$ in extra cost of ownership since purchased.

My anger is beyond justifyed

But im glad you got your jeep fixed because they told me there is no fixes. And it is a normal characteristic of the zf 9 speed to shift harshly and slam into gear.

GO BUY A TOYOTA IF YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT A RENEGADE JUST PULL OUT 10 GRAND AND SET IT ON FIRE. WORST COMPANY EVER!

She has no information in her knownledge that has anything to do with motor vehicles. This fact is due to she is lazy and does not respect the job she has and decides to not future her knowledge of the business profession she chose.

Her idea of her job is to be cute and lie to you multiple times until you either give up or you file law suit with your state through lemon law.

They clearly only hired her for her voice because she has zero real info or knowledge of any jeep to actaully help anyone with a problem.


Its not because she is a womans its because she has no respect for her job or fca customers.

I'm not questioning your justification... I'd be mad too if my jeep was still in disarray and was told that's how it was made.

It's just wrong to come on a forum that is not ran by FCA and then slander the FCA and all women. If you want to rage then go rage to the BBB. It's not going to do you any good here.

And this is the exact place to warn customers of fca terrible business ethics and how the jeep renegade is a disater to fca that is spinning out of their control.

And again nothing against women ...i am against unprofessional unskilled uneducated service members. She does not conduct her self in a unisex professional manner so i can not respect her as a human in her position.

I had a problem but it didn't render my car useless nor unsafe. I know there are many other who also have problems but that doesn't mean the majority is.

Whatever man, just giving you a fair warning before an admin comes in here.

 

Joe at mopar fca has confirmed that all jeep renegades are having harsh shifting problems and that zf designed the transmission to do exactly that.
Zf on the other hand confirms that you absolutely should not have any harsh shifting with this zf9 speed and that it is clearly a chyrsler assembly or software malfunction.

I understand your frustration with having a vehicle that doesn't work correctly, but Sgt is right the slandering and swearing makes you look like the mean or rude one. I hope they can get it fixed for you, but the vile words should be kept to a minimum or not be in place at all.

Then I would recommend you take it in to your dealership and if they say it is working correctly sell it to them. It sounds like you want to be done with Jeep. Again wish you all the best of luck but if you have been dealing with the problem this long with financial issues then your best option is lemon law case or selling it to the dealer.

My 2015 honda fit has cost 119$ in 19 months to maintain.

Pretty fucking sad that they cant afford to have a trained mechanical engineer to take a look at my jeep. Worst company i have ever dealt with.

I'm saying cost of ownership. I wouldn't to assume know your finances. I presented you two solutions to negate or fix your issue. I'm not looking for a fight and am merely trying to help, but it's obvious that you aren't happy so I would recommend taking one of the actions to fix the problem.

 

I really get his frustration-in 5 months of ownership, I've experienced software update issues, stalling, gas tank housing broken off at the pump, pillar discoloration, gas filler door falling off, squealing brakes with no fix...shall I go on?

Article is about cherokees but alot of renegade steering wheel assemblys are catching fire as well....you know the part that has a controlled explosion inside of it called an airbag....

Gonna wait till abother 4 year old dies before you address this problem as well?
