Any new release rumors?

Well - I just heard from Lithia Jeep in Reno and was told they will have a Renegade Trailhawk in Glacier Metallic on the 23rd. Unfortunately, it's the ONLY Renegade they have coming in. When I asked about one in white, I was told they do have some coming in but it'll be 3 months before they get here.

 

I wouldn't put it past them to do something like that.

So, we started to do some searching online and found that you can now find Renegades that are in transit to dealerships. In fact, if you go to the Jeep.com website, you can now build and find a dealership that has what you're wanting or at least a close match. So, I've been spending some time looking and looking and surprisingly, there isn't a single Renegade within an 800 mile radius of me that has an MSRP over $30k. Most are way cheaper including Trailhawk models and so I started looking at the window stickers and so far, I have not seen a single one that's coming with a MySky option!

 

Eddie - have you been to Lithia in person yet?

Their salesmen know about as much about Jeeps as I know about quantum physics.

 

Its probably because I was on the mobile Jeep website, but I didnt see any Renegades listed as in transit to or at any of the dealerships around me. Ill hop on my computer later and try again.

I did build one for just over 26k though. Assuming Ill get the trade in value for my current DD, it makes my payments really affordable.

 

LOL!! I haven't been there but the guy a talked to was clearly NOT the sharpest tool in the shed.

 

Well, you're in luck as most of the Renegades were all priced in the low to mid 20's. I just don't think ANY come with MySky if it matters to you.

 

Called around to the dealers neae me and at least got a time frame from them. Both claim that the Renegade will be available for test drive at the end of next week. Fingers crossed. Lol

Jeep begins selling renegades

 

Well, there's one in Vegas that kinda meets what we're looking for and the price is right. I'll be giving them a call to see if we can make it happen.

 

Jealous, don't think we'll be getting one anytime soon. Unless oil prices go up!

 

I wouldn't be jealous. In a lot of ways, I'd prefer to wait until the 2016's come out being that we're so close to them coming out anyway. Plus, there still aren't any MySky options available.

 

Just heard back from my local dealer and he said that a Glacier Metallic should be in today. We'll see.

 

LOL!! No real reason why I couldn't wait. Just eager I suppose and really, it wouldn't kill me to trade up in a year or two down the road.

 

Sweet! Maybe when I leave work and get back to my cell I'll have a missed call from my dealership letting me know they are in.

 

That would be awesome. Sure would be nice to take advantage of the dealer incentive that's set to expire next Tuesday!
