Just read an article on Car and Driver and in it, they list out all the standard equipment you get with each of the Jeep Renegade models + the options you can get with them. I still can't believe that in today's day and age, new vehicles are still being offered in the U.S. without air conditioning but, apparently, that is the case with the Sport. Having seen this and seeing that the Sport doesn't come with a MySky option, I think it's pretty clear that the Latitude or even Trailhawk will be still be more of what I'd be wanting to get.

Sport: $18,990 + $2000 for all-wheel drive; standard equipment includes a six-speed manual transmission, 1.4L turbo four, 16-inch steel wheels (awesome!), remote keyless entry, power windows, steering-wheel audio controls, fold-forward front passenger seat, hill-start assist. Options include the Sound Group (5.0-inch Uconnect touch screen, six audio speakers, USB port); the Power and Air Group (power door mirrors, cruise control, air conditioning); and a backup camera.

Latitude: $22,290 + $2000 for all-wheel drive; the Latitude adds 16-inch aluminum wheels, tinted windows, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a backup camera, Chrysler’s Uconnect infotainment system with a 5.0-inch touch screen, and fog lamps. Options include the MySky pop-off roof panels; Advanced Technology Group (forward collision warning, lane departure warning, park assist); Cold Weather Group (heated front seats and steering wheel, windshield wiper de-icer, all-weather floor mats, remote start on auto-equipped models); navigation (with 6.5-inch Uconnect touch screen); Popular Equipment Group (eight-way power driver’s seat, 40/20/20 split rear seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, 9-speaker audio, 115-volt power outlet); Premium Navigation Group (navigation with HD radio); Safety and Security Group (blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-path warning); and the Trailer Tow Group (class III hitch and 4- and 7-pin wiring, requires 2.4L engine).

Limited: $25,790 + $2000 for all-wheel drive; the Limited adds the nine-speed automatic transmission and 2.4L four-cylinder engine, 18-inch wheels, leather seats (heated in front) and shift knob, heated steering wheel, 7.0-inch gauge-cluster display, remote engine starting, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Options include the MySky pop-off roof panels; the Advanced Technology Group; navigation; Premium Navigation Group; Safety and Security Group; and the Trailer Tow Group.

Trailhawk: $26,990; the Trailhawk also gets the 2.4L/automatic combo, as well as standard four-wheel drive with 20:1 low-range gearing. Other features include 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, red tow hooks, skid plates, a black roof and roof rails, and slimmer front and rear fascias for better off-road clearance. Options include the MySky pop-off roof panels, navigation, Cold Weather Group, Popular Equipment Group, Premium Navigation Group, Safety and Security Group, and the Trailer Tow Group.

Wow. That info may just help to sway me from the Trailhawk. Coupled with the fact the there are more tire choices for 16" rims. I may just go with a Latitude. Ill have to test drive both transmissions as well. Still thinkg automatic at this point.

Latitude looks like a winner, nav, 6 speed, my sky and the trailer hitch

When all is said and done, I don't think the price difference will be all that much or, at least in terms of monthly payments but, the Latitude having a 6 speed is really temping.

With the Costco discount, the jk Rubicon wasn't much more. Hopefully it's the same here.
