Less of an included warranty: the 2015s had a 5/100,000 - the 2016s had a 3/60,000! Looked at both when I got mine in early November, went with a 2015 that had the features I was seeking.

Hi to all, this is my 1st "joining" of any auto forum site & thus my very 1st entry, whoopee ! So, ALL the Renegade 2016 info is out there for the taking - simple as that, but what I really want to understand is the 75th Anniversary Rene Model(s) ! Today I notice on Jeep.com a downloadable 75th brochure, but on another website (not sure if I can mention, so I won't) there is a video and very good photos of all the jeep model 75th in all their Jeep Heritage Greenness ! Except for the Wranglers, there is no mention of Trailhawk 75th versions. Many seem to be based on Lower to mid level builds (Sport, Latitude . . .). There are color choices. and I really like the "bronze tone" accents, inside & out ! I am Very interested in the Rene but only as a TH and am/was hoping for an ability to get a TH 75th Rene or at least have the option to build one (this may still be ?) . But if FCA is "stuck" on the Red TH accents . . . Bummer ! Maybe a Wrangler 75th will be the only viable off roader ?! Any "insiders" or Moderators or members feel like me ? ps; Beats Audio system is new for an option, along with some color changes.

Yeah, I got that press release but wasn't too impressed with what I saw. I mean, the color schemes were cool but like most of the special edition packages Jeep puts out, they tend to be all show and at a steep price tag. Here are a few shots of the Renegade.

Honestly, if you don't like the red accents and if you're looking for something that you can really off road, I would recommend that you get a Wrangler.

Well that was lame on my part. Didn't really make my point on the "red accents" ! What I meant by that was; Trailhawks come with the red accents, which are not a problem, but the photos do not show any "red accented" interiors - meaning that it appears there won't (as yet) be a 75th TH version of the Rene, which IS the most capable version. I'd much rather have a TH Renegade that has the upgrades (with or without red accents). Why? I am not a hardcore off roader just for the sake of doing that - I go places to get to the final destination, usually fly fishing and other outdoor fun while camping. The mpg's are a big factor as well as the cost vs. a Wrangler. That Wrangler sure does look nice though with the 75th upgrades. ps; I was very impressed with the lift done on your Rene, I don't have the tools, or savvy to "do at home" - am an apartment dweller without garage and too old frankly! But, I could consider having Them do It at some reasonable cost. Wouldn't go for the overly aggressive tires, & would stick with a 17" wheel and 70 sidewall to avoid any rubbing or other issues. Will we get to see Your new ride in video action ?
