When people see me at Rivers edge and ask (among other things) what I like doing most I reply,"Well, I suppose you could say I am a fly-fishing fanatic - or "FlyFinatic" as I write it ! Used to be big on golf, but overall I truly have always enjoyed Mother Nature's great outdoors, especially near or on moving water (fresh or salt). And thus my love of all things Jeepy ! Sadly; never have owned one, been close a few times but never did . . . which brings me to "here" ! I've been researching my ass-off the past 3 years on G.C.'s, and Wranglers . 'They' keep upping the ante with new jeeps or upgrades or refreshes . . . enough to make your head spin ! Now, my interest in the G.C. Laredo is less with the "new" 2016 just up on the web for ordering, but has gotten too expensive - at $37,400 (my conservatively appointed build) . My interest lies in the Cherokee TH & this "Toaster" Renegade TH as you affectionately call IT ! Currently my '03 RAM 4x2 1500 allows me "camping privileges " (ARE Canopy) but the lack of 4x4 keeps me further from the places I prefer to be . A NEW 2017 JEEP - most likely the Renegade TH or Cherokee TH will change all that ! Well that is enough for now.
