Anyone had issues with their wipers chattering like hell? I got the stock blades and I've tried rain x, cleaning the blades with alcohol, switching washer fluid and just straight up cleaning the bejesus out of the windshield with Windex. Should I just get new wiper blades? The current ones still feel soft and flexible. I've done some research and a lot of ppl talk about claying the windshield but that seems excessive for something I've only owned 3 months.

The short answer, Yes. Mine was about a month old and I replaced the stock wipers with Bosch's and the problem went away ... although I think any quality brand would be a vast improvement.

The stock blades are from hunger, they skipped, chattered, streaked across the whole window. The only time the stock one's seemed to work was in a heavy downpour otherwise it was skeeeeech chatter chatter bounce bounce chatter.

The window glass is fine, the wiper arm springs are good, the wiper motor works as designed, it's them meshugganah stock blades.

FYI- The guy behind the parts counter said he waxes the windshield when he does his car to keep the blades from getting torn up but I haven't tried that since I got the new blades.

The blades on our Renegade chattered for a while but eventually quieted down. They are a year old now and are still wiping nice with no noise. I will probably replace them before the winter though.
