What is this?

In the trunk space on the right and left I have plastic sidewall panels. If you pop off the panels I see wiring and plug. Is this for additional speackers?

 

Most likely. Mine came with 2 additional speakers in the back

 

Have you tried to hook anything up yet?

 

I have not yet, I was going to have an audio company look at it.

 

Is it an unplugged connector? I believe the taillight access is back there. Could that be what you're seeing?

 

Could be, back in the day you could flip some pages in a guide and see the breakdown!
