I wonder if anyone else is experiencing the same as me. I have a 5.0 U-Connect & noticed that when using SXM the output sounds good, nice bass, crisp vocals (when it's not searching for a signal) but when I use the radio or the usb to listen to songs off my iPhone the audio performance is lacking. Is it just my radio?
Hello, I'm not by any means an expert on these things, but I have the same set up in my Renegade as well. Try messing around with your settings on your phone. I think might help a little.
I guess I should I have told you that I have an iPhone as well. I just looked at my settings and in the music section I have the EQ and volume limit in the off status. I don't know if that makes a difference, but I hope it helps. Good luck.
I notice a lack in sound when linked to my phone. (galaxy6s) Seem to play victim to the quality of what you are listening to, radio and Sirius radio come in great. I was wondering if having the navigation would help on the trails. I know I lose signal on my phone, didn't know if it would track different trails.
I already have bass booster on my phone. The problem is only SXM sounds great. The radio is lacking as well. Maybe a trip to the dealer to check the radio is in order. I've had to call SXM 4x to give my radio a "refresh" because it would reset to a preview where all the stations are channel 1. Thanks for the comments.
