Hi there guys. I kindly ask for your expertise and opinion for a matter that is driving me crazy.
Recently I replaced my serpantine (timing belt) as it was due to be replaced. My engine is the 1.4T
Together with the timing belt I replaced the tensioner, the water pump, the crank seal etc.
Since then I get a small rattle noise which is heard mostly when the rpm are in the range of 1000 to 1500/2000. This can be heard when revving up and when revving down when the indicator passes through this specific rpm range.
I changed the alternator belt as well, and also the alternator belt tensioner. The noise is still there.
I used the best parts I could find. The belts and tensioner are Continental.

I do not see any problem with the engine it self. The car is driving fine. But this small rattling noise at low rpm is getting on my nerves.

Do you know what might be the problem? Is it because the timing belt is new and probably needs some time to losen up? (Maybe is over tiightened?)
I've read that some times it is the water pump making this noise or the alternator pulley.
Has anyone else had this problem after replacing the timing belt?

Any insight and assistance will be greatly appreciated.
    Many thanks.
