Well there's things your radio does that's locked out. On Cherokee and other jeep and dodge radios they have gps built in. You call Chrysler care with your vin and $550. Later they give you a code to turn on the gps. Like Xm radio does. Then certain models have features that some don't like a performance setting or off road display threw the dash. But everything in done threw the radio. I watch them jail brake a Durango even though it wasn't an srt8 engine the radio unlocked the srt dash layout with the gauge package and track package. You need to go and watch the VIEDO and there web site to see what each radio model does what. This demo was for all renagade and fiat 500 models with 6.5 radio.
Yes but you can get options in a basic truck were you would have to get in a more expensive unit or not offered at all. I watch more of ther jail braking videos. One extra is ram only allow you to get a hi mount bed camera in a 2500-3500 trucks. But not on 1500. There soft wear allows you to install not only the bed mount but also cameras on the side mirrors but the front grill. Also you can retune your truck like a tuner raise the limiter, change how long you want the cameras to stay on. If you want them on while your driveing. You got to go and watch and read all the videos . Some guys get the basics and find out it's a nightmare to upgrade but this makes it simple. Everyone has to choose
You can change the rev limiter and a few settings. I like the srt gauge on the ram 1500. It seams everything is the same almost and its programmed threw the radio. That can explain the extra 150 hp you get from going from red to yellow key in the srt. The key has the radio transmitter to change the computer settings.
Yep you lift or change tire size your voided . They will claim the larger tires would wear out cv joints ect.. Faster you changed the limiter to stop at 101 mph and your tire blew at 110 mph. Everything's a gamble. Some will trash me and say no. I worked at a dealer part time for a year. I saw stuff they did got away with voided warrenty and if they had a cash cow elderly they milked them dry because they trusted the dealer.
Why give half true information I am fairly sure tire size would not void the warranty on the ENTIRE vehicle. The Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act puts the burden of proof on the dealership that what ever you did caused the issue. While they may be able to say those tires caused more wear on any thing even if they can prove it cause your drive train to explode into one million pieces, they simply can not link it to an electrical or track issue with your my sky. So lets call a spade a spade it may void a portion of a warranty but not the entire thing. As by law the modification and the breakage must not only be linked but a cause and correlation must be shown. I also work in the industry but full time with direct reports.

Hi! There is no third party apps and you can already switch between front and rear cameras with Jailbreak! Or do you want additional cameras to be installed, and switch between them?

The Customtronix Jailbreak Silver kit will give you the option to install a front camera which is integrated into the uconnect system's menus. This product is only compatible with the 8.4" or 6.5"-screen versions of uconnect. The 8.4" and 6.5" uconnect systems have three video inputs between which you can switch freely. One or more of these may be in use depending on the configuration of your vehicle though. A factory installed reverse camera will steal one input. A factory installed VES-system (Back seat entertainment system) will steal one more input. We have so far never seen a car with all three inputs in use from factory. You can use a generic video switch to feed multiple sources to one input if you like though. The cameras are activated from a "cargo cam"-icon which will appear in the apps menu after install. You can then switch between cameras using icons that will appear on the screen if you tap it. Difficult to explain, so why not take a look here to see how it works: (Filmed in a RAM, but the system is the exact same in a Jeep Cherokee)
