Im going to Moab again in a month. Its gonna be a hot one. Doing a 100-120 mile trail.
Space is limited as I dont have a roof rack and nothing to put on my tow yet.

So Im thinking 2.5/3 gallon gas can? Because Im more than likely going to have to keep in in the rear of the vehicle. Id love a cheap metal red jerry can with the Renegade X on it. But they can be pricey. Anyone have any suggestions? Honestly in a perfect world I think Id like to mount a water and gas can outside somehow via my tow package. But Id want it to come way up so it didnt mess with my departure angle.

Thinking a good cheap 30 foot tow recovery strap with no hooks. What would be an ideal weight to search to use for recovery. Renegade is pretty light. Any suggestions?

Also for the situation of a flat tire. I wont be on flat ground, not sure how firm either. Is there anything light and cheap that could support the jack and give it better leverage?

Im bringing tarps for shade and bungees. Small cooler. 3 gallon water jug. Two chairs.

Mysky panels thing is going to be complicated. I think it fits up against the drivers seat and the rear seat pretty well out of the way though.

I suppose maybe share anything thats good and mini for camping for the mini suv's mini cargo space.

So for your gas and water and storage check this link out... It is to the daystar cam can stuff, not sure if you've seen it and ruled it out, but it sounds like what you want. Look at all the different containers also, it's not just liquids, it's everything.

http://daystarweb.com/productdetail.php?productID=1500 .... this is the renegade specific part.
http://daystarweb.com/productlisting.php?make=Jeep&prodcat=Cam+Can .....this is the four pages of all the other stuff that you could get with it.

    Another link for you http://www.voodoooffroadropes.com/

BTW I do not own any daystar or voodoo products and I do not work at, or for, either place. Just just things I have found through searches and will most likely own soon after the big stuff is done (lift, tires, sliders)

Have you looked at the crack and x tracks ? They look like decent recovery options.

Mini camping you can't go wrong with a screw top stove or an emo hammock

IIRC a recovery strap should be rated for 2-3 times the weight of your vehicle, so I would say 10k minimum. Get one with loops and not metal hooks.
