So I have a TH with the stock blackout hood decal. I found a super sweat decal that I would like to apply on top of it. Normal circumstances the vinyl would stick to vinyl. However the Blackout hood is textured.

    What could i do?

You can try removing the decal. Just search for "jeep renegade hood decal removal" on google or you tube. You will find articles on how to remove decals.

My fiance worked for sign shops. Vinyl will stick to vinyl. If you want to test it take a small piece and 1st, clean the application surface with alcohol , 2nd make a mix of dishwashing soap and water. (Google application fluid). Spray the application surface and lay the vinyl down. You can move the vinyl around to position it. Once in place, use a squeegee to force the fluid out from under the vynil. Work the squeegee over the vinyl repeatedly. Remove the application tape slowly. If there are any bubbles, pop them with an exacto blade or a needle and work them down with the squeegee. Its not as bad as it seems. Good luck!
