Changing songs using steering wheels

Hey, I have figured out how to change the volume by using the steering wheel controls in my jeep renegade, but I don't know if it is possible to change the song with the steering wheel controls when I am listening to music from the aux cord. Appreciate any help!

It does via Bluetooth, so i imagine it would via the AUX

The center of the left button will change to next preset station. The top part of the button will scan up, the bottom part will scan down.

The right button will do volume up and down but if you press the center it switches between am, fm, sattelite and media.

This is for Uconnect 5.0, not sure about 6.5.

 

Aux is just audio so I doubt it would control it that way. I guess it technically could the same way phone earphones can but I think you'd have choose between iPhone and Android in settings and I've never seen that.

We bought a 64GB tiny tiny USB flash drive and just leave it in the USB port.

 

I did the same, cheap and easy...

 

There is no way to change the song via the steering wheel through and AUX cord. Through bluetooth or USB you can change with the up and down buttons on the back of the left side of the steering wheel to change the song.
