I am new to the thread but figured I'd post about my Jeep renegade sport. I am running 17 inch platinum saber wheels with 42 mm offset with toyo open country at2 in 235/65/r17 with no rubbing whatsoever. I have the daystar 1.5 inch luft kit. I also have added thule 47 inch cross bars, and window visors. What do you guys think I should do next?

Looks great!! Do you think those tires would fit without the lift or spacers? I would like to get 235's for driving on the beach. The wider the better for soft sand.

The lift you could most certainly go without as it has no effect on tire size been it's just a body lift. As far as no spacer or offset I can't say for sure but I do believe you could fit them!

Thanks for the reply. I will check around at a few tire shops to see what they think.

How about adding a bull bar to your sport? I would like to add some recovery points to mine. Wish Daystar made a bumper without the winch setup that was as strong as the winch bumper. Like your color choice by the way.

I have actually looked around for one but I have the same issue as you, I don't want a winch. I know you can get a normal chrome bull bar but I'd like a black one personally. And I do believe there are spots for recovery points where the trailhawk models have them they are just behind the plastic on lower models I believe?

No pinch seam mod? I've got Cooper Discoverer AT3s, 235 65R 17 s with 1" spacers and the Daystar lift and had to do some serious cutting to get rid of the rubbing. Was a pain in the &%$. Wonder if non-stock wheels with offset would have been a better solution...

Nope, none at all. The rims I have have a 42 mm offset which is about 1.6 inches so I don't know if that makes a difference.

So quick questions about the lift.. A trailhawk is lifted from the factory... if you add the daystar will you still see 1.5 inch of lift on top of the factory lift? I guess it all depends of the factory lift is a spring lift.

The factory lift on the trailhawk is a spring lift, the daystar lift is a 1.5 inch body lift which is just a spacer on the top of the strut so you will still get 1.5 inches of lift on a trailhawk!

You are correct and I know that. I also stated that it is a strut spacer. When I used the term body lift I'm referring to the fact that is doesn't have anything to do with your Springs. And to iterate the fact that it will still lift a factory lifted trailhawk by 1.5 inches.
