Has anyone with the 1.4t installed the diverter valve or blowoff from madness? I'm curious as to how they are.

Jack there are a couple of videos out there of the Renegade with those installed and the Darts have them as well. Basically the BOV offers nothing but increase noise of turbo discharge and the DV is a preventative thing over the OEM one.

So if I understand this correctly the DV is just a stronger version of the stock one?

And after some youtubing, i found the straight piped toaster with the blowoff. I almost hate to admit I like the sound of it.

Yeah that video was what got me interested! I just upgraded powertrain so need for turbo parts on a no turbo engine!

I'm probably gonna get the blowoff to start. I'm gonna wait to do major mods until warranty is up.

I had a BOV on my '15 Fiesta ST that I traded to get my Renegade and it always brought a smile to my face when it went off. But after awhile it got kind of annoying because if I held the throttle just right it would keep venting. IMO it would be weird to have something like that on a jeep.

It's useless at stock boost levels, aside from noise. Upgrade your boost, by all means install one. But unless you plan on tuning it, it'll just make noise.

Just finished installing the Bonalume from Madness. If you're looking for the loud dumping sound than this is for you! Was really easy to install. After I purchased it they put up an adjustable version. Would probably go with that one if I was able to re purchase. Hope this helps!
