Tuesday might be the day... My Jeep that I've owned for two weeks and driven three times might get out of the shop!!
It's not the dealership... It's Chrysler!! They apparently didn't make any or enough parts to repair a very small oil leak. What the hell is an oil feed tube??
Still waiting on the oil feed tube. It will be 2 weeks tomorrow... Completely over being angry. Can't wait to get my Renegade back though!
The Jeepy is finally done!! Picked it up today at the hoped for zero out of pocket. I'll be installing the cargo rack tomorrow. Pics of the his and hers Renegades to follow.
That's great news T.Jay now you can drive your Renegade and enjoy it. Look forward to the pics. Happy Trails Best regards Mick
Hey sorry for the late reply to this party, but where did you notice the leak? I'm just starting to see some dripping on the passenger side (front). Haven't done the old card-board test as levels seem to be OK, and have an appointment for 1.5 weeks anyways.
My window seals were messed up, I noticed the noise 2 days after buying my renegade. 1st time the dealership had it for 3 days, said they found nothing, added 60 miles to it, (more then I had even driven it, at that time) gave it back. My seat motor all of a sudden stopped working one day. Then worked the next. The chiming noise, as if your seat belt was off) kept playing randomly while driving. I took it back with video, kind of had to make a big deal, because they don't respond well to people being nice about their messed up "new" car. They kept it for a week in a half, sent me to voicemail every time I called to see what was the status of it was.Since they don't know how to give me any updates on it, I was calling after they hit the 3rd day, everyday after until I got a hold of someone. Finally after( pretty much making feel crazy about the whistling noise I was hearing, say they ordered new seals. They still don't admit that there was a problem with it. I pick it up on Monday. I'm pretty sure they've driven it more then me.
Talked to Chrysler. Took my car to get fixed again, for the 3rd time for all the same issues, the dealership I went to gave me a disgusting rental, got my car back the next day, 3 days later, the problems are back. . .now waiting for a response from Chrysler. . .once again . . .I still my Renny though! --minus all the problems.
I do love my Renegade however once again it is in the shop doer the DCM issues. In the year that I have owned it, it has been in Jeep's repair shop for roughly 6 weeks. Right now its on 9 days. I have has my engine, transmission and BCM module, hood repainted and brakes replaced since I have owned it. Theses are the major things. I'm insisting they buy it back. I fear that FIAT will ruin the Wrangler with the 2018 release. I'm at the point where it maybe time to part ways with it.
