This may be old news to you guys but I just found Daystar Renegade lift kit on ebay and 4wd.com for $399. Since I am not so mechanically inclined... I'll wait until someone post some reviews or tutorials on it. I am mostly concerned about its impact on MPG and on-road performance since it is one of the biggest reason I bought the Renegade for commute. I can't wait to see some write-ups on this kit!!!
I doubt there would be any impact on your mpg. The change to your on road manners would be marginal at best.
Please let us know how things go! Gonna order me one up now and will get it installed as soon as I can. I will be sure to do a complete write-up on it too.
Please post pics when they are on. I have to admit I would love to get my Renny lifted but I don't know about the particulars. Will it affect gas mileage by much? And what about my extended warranty? I'm new to this sort of thing. My Renegade is pretty much my first adult purchase.
Nice! I'm trying to decide on lifting my fwd Renegade.. Want to see one completed besides the Daystar jeep.
Hi, I would like to know the thikness of the front spacers and if with the kit installed the front A arm will touch the subframe like show in the photo with fully extended shox, thanks
