Hello from Southwest Colorado. We just became members of the Toaster Jeep club. 2015 Rene Sport. We have installed the daystar 1.5 lift and added 225 /70 /16 BFGoodrich KO2's so far. I would like to post before and after pics but seems that they are to large to post just yet. Anyone know the right size for posting?

Yes sir there many trails in this area. Are you looking to do day trips or camp on the trail? I know of ghost town in the Silverton area and a trail that can be taken to Lake City from Silverton. I have not taken this road all the way to Lake City so some investigation would be needed to verify toaster Jeep approved. There are trails from Purgatory ski area that cross through to Telluride, I have done this in a 4x4 pickup so I know it can be done in a Renegade. I have seen video of a guy that took his Renegade over Black Bear Road, It is a very difficult trail. Well I could go on but there are many trails here in the Southern San Juan mountains, and we are planning on running the trails ourselves when the snow melts.

I am just north of Denver, we all need to hit the trails sometime.

Carefull guys, recently I got stuck on mud trail - I wish I have aftermarket winch :( >>> I got in trouble twice already in 3 month owning it - this rig is not flexing enough on uneven trail obstacles. I had fun driving on gravel, snow and some back road trails though... soft sand and mud is not so fun however and so my Rene' now is strictly for dry paved roads!!!

Getting stuck is half the fun. Just never go alone and bring a strap. If you want more flex, unhook the sway bar, it will give you a little more. I'll be adding a winch to mine soon. Already have lift, next is tires.

True, it's extremely capable. I've had my TH on super tight washed out trails, rocky off camber mountain roads, sandy washes... No issues, stock. Wheel placement is key, pick your line well and let the vehicle's size and geometry work for you. Believe me, you can get anything stuck or disabled but Renegades are a blast off-road as well as around town.

Have you found any trails? I'm in Fort Collins too. I got mine a few months back and have been discovering some cool places.
