Oh man, I like it! Thanks for sharing this here!! I've been wondering if something like this could be done
I'm hoping some US companies come up with something like this. Also, I hope they add a small bull bar to go with it that has a place for some lights as well. Of course the bull bar would only be for looks and the light mount so it needs to be made from one of the strong aluminum alloys as I don't want to load up the Renegade with two much extra weight.
Looks like a Warn ProVantage 4500-S Winch: http://www.4wheelparts.com/Winches-...9EaLZDjSkb_BW1gTV4k29RtUTDeCS_L7qcxoCNWTw_wcB
What a cute little winch! I'm so used to dealing with 8000-up winches, it's strange to think that a 4000 lb. unit made for a side by side would be all that you need. Well, actually, a 6000 lb. unit or more would be more appropriate being that a Renegade has a curb weight of 3400 lbs. but you could get this to work. I'm trying to talk to a few of my contacts and will hope that I can get them interested in making stuff. I think we just need to get more folks out there buying these things first.
Well it looks like another company came up with another mounting method for the same Warn ProVantage 4500-S winch. Look at the instructions to see a photo of the mounting bracket. http://www.offroad24.com/shop/index...&PHPSESSID=j025f2p4versi3jql3p6gh0oa1#nl_data Instructions: http://www.offroad24.com/resource/p...df&ml_t=Installation_instructions_16-6700.pdf
