I have Glacier Metallic too. I added a hood blackout, Dark badges, and plasti-dipped the grill (anthracite gray). The 225/70R16 Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires made an improvement too.

I rigged up a DIY phone mount repurposing a mount from a bike.

I also added a little dot of reflective tape to the liftgate to help me find the damn release button... :)

They should put a little dimple there like they have on the fuel door.

Hate when that happens...Hopefully we don't get one any time soon! With owning wranglers it goes with the territory, last 3 wranglers got cracks every year, last one less than 1000 miles on it.

Yeah, awesome to get back into a JK. And getting to test-drive the KO2's on the JK before I put them on the TH this fall.

7/23/2016 - I just added a full sized spare tire...

I bought my Latitude "slightly" used (800 miles) and all it came with was a pitiful excuse for a screw driver where the spare tire normally lives. I'm not sure what normally comes with with the Latitude, but I know I wanted a full size spare to combat Detroit potholes.

    Spare tire house:

The Latitude came with a soft cover under the rear cargo floor, but it cant be used if you have a spare tire. I figured I would cut it up and still use it. The added benefit is that it covers some of the body panel sealant which is tacky.

So... now its time for the spare tire. I installed it upside down as recommended by some of the other threads...
    IMG_0136.jpg

The original bolt was too short so I had to get a longer one from Lowes... $0.92

All bolted down and it makes a great spot for a soft tool bag:

Even with my full size 225/70R16 spare tire, there is plenty of space around the tire for the scissor jack and tow straps. The cargo floor still fits with plenty of room.

TJP, I am also running into that same issue with the lack of a spare tire.
Where did you purchase that steel wheel from?

Today I broke my battery cover :)

My son had a dead battery in his car.
I removed the cover for the positive terminal on the Renegade so I could attach jumper cables.
Mission accomplished, I tried to close the hood, but it wouldn't latch... so... I lifted the hood higher and dropped it.

Took about a half hour before it dawned on my why the hood wouldn't close... the battery cover was still laying loose in the engine bay. Grrrr....

Got the Rola Rack. Found it on Walmart.com shipped to store for $128bucks. The bars are from eBay, they are the whisper bar knockoffs. They are good bars. I do not have the MySky panels and these bars would not give you the clearance needed. You have to find a bar that sits up a little higher.

How did you get he rubber bands in the vent, I have the same quadlock adapter and want to try this setup in the renegade so I can leave my window mount in my Grand Cherokee

I used a very thin piece of wire and bent a little hook in the end. I slid the rubber loops (that come with the Quadlock) over the vent and then used the wire hook to grab it and pull it back on the other side. It took a few tries but it wasn't too difficult.

You should know the rubber loops will obstruct the vent louvres from tilting up and down. So make sure to set them where you want them. The side to side control will still work fine.

I'm doing pinch seams today, lift and mounting tires tomorrow hopefully.

Also did the interior led replacement last weekend. Crazy, tremendous difference in illumination.

    I mounted my phone.
I had been using a suction cup style mount off of the dash board that, up until the summer months, worked almost ok. Once the sun kicked into high gear it would fall of with the slightest acceleration. So, I decided something more permanent was needed. My solution was very simple. I really liked the clamp/release/phone holster of the suction mount, so I took it apart, screwed it to a piece of aluminum that I panted black, and screwed the aluminum to the inside of the dash (I did bend the aluminum slightly to position the phone where I wanted it).

I can now select a new song without letting go of the steering wheel.
Why mounts aren't integrated into cars is beyond me.
