I got 2 cracks the first day I took it to work. One right in the middle of the drivers side, the other on the edge of the passengers side that spread 2 feet in a day. Six weeks to get it replaced....

Got a big crack, too near the Willy Jeep. Never had that with any other vehicles. Makes me wonder about the quality (again)

It's a big windshield, almost twice the size of a Wrangler. They don't keep the roads up. That day I heard 7 rocks hit it on the way to work. It's not the windshield.

I installed a Yakima rack, round bars with the front wind fairing to reduce noise and improve airflow. I will post pics tomorrow as we ran out of daylight. Did take it for a test drive and did not notice any noise. Pleased so far. The next step is to install my fishing rod rack on it. I have some rather large 1 piece surf rods that will not fit in the Renegade so up top they will go. I do need to open up the tubes a bit on the rod rack so I will sand the nylon inserts in the morning. One of my reels is wider than the others by about ΒΌ" and won't fit.

Also had an oil change, oil filter, tire rotation done this morning (16,000 miles). They also flashed the ECM and PCM which took over an hour and a half. The tech said they were large updates but didn't have any particular specifics. Shifting has always been good but it does seem a little smoother, maybe my imagination.

Yeah it is quite a rack. It is made of powder coated aluminum with marine grade stainless steel fittings and nylon inserts to protect the reels. The fishing poles are secured thru a rotating collar that can be locked for a little security. If they want to steal my rods at least they will have to work a little to get them.

I like your roof rack and the bike rack. I have room to carry a bike also but not sure if the Yakima bars are too far apart.

The wind fairing is 38" and works great. I bought it at REI and it is still on sale for $67.93 reg $85 with free shipping. They have a new one called the WindScreen that is 40" and would probably be a better fit. This one is on sale also, reg $99 for $79.19 w/free shipping also. This one wasn't available when I got mine. Very easy to install.

Just got my Yakima roof rack and installed the back one, but will hold off on putting on the front because it won't work with the power My Sky. Planning on getting a canoe soon and hoping this rack will help. :)
