Absolutely love mine. I haven't noticed wind noise that is any worse than any other car I've been in. They're not made to drive at highway speeds with the windows up. I've had both of my panels off while going 60 with all windows down - didn't notice any noise more than normal.

Ok I'm leaning towards not getting it (although finding a TH without it may be difficult as all the ones I've seen have them) but thinking about how much I use my sunroof now which is not often and I seriously doubt I'd ever remove the rear panel. I might as well save myself the 1500. If the TH I want has all the options I want but happens to have MySky too I won't make a stink but I think I can do without. Thanks all for the feedback!

I was kind of like the opposite of you haha, I didn't care to have the MySky at all really. But when my dealer found me a '15 TrailHawk in the color I wanted with the hitch package I wanted it just happened to have the MySky, so I went with it. Turns out I love it, and use the power roof all the time. In the summer months ill be popping off panels here and there too just to enjoy the ride.

So I went and test drove a Renegade with MySky today and took it on the highway with the front open (rear on). I was pretty surprised how tolerable the wind noise was and no buffeting with all the windows up. Noticed a few other quirks but won't post those here. I at least feel better if I have to get MySky

Even if the wind or buffeting isn't very loud, cracking the rear windows even 1/2" will decrease the noise a good bit.

Finally got to remove both MySky the other day and drive around town. ( the weather been too cool since I purchased in Feb .) I had no problem removing the panels per instructions. but that bag kicked my arse for a little while. And what is with a part that is to snap back in the the front Mysky once removed? I have three instructions for MySky removal and packing. 1. Owners manual, 2. amended quick step pamphlet and 3. the storage bag instructions all slightly different.

Once removed and stowed away properly ( I think) I really enjoyed driving around top less.

There are a lot of questions about the wind and buffeting and road noise for MySky Renegade.

If you never been in a convertible sports car or other? Rode in and open top 4x4 (wrangle/ scout/ bronco/ blazer) or even a older Trans Am Tee Top? ( could not think of another tee top auto.... bonus question...) I once had a custom mini-truck with removable top. That SOB never did seal the rain out. They do no make enough silicone. HaHa :)

I think the wind , buffeting and noise in the Renegade is far better than all the previously mentioned above.

But yes compared to a non MySky Renegade it will be windy, buffeting and noisy.

I was checking out the mysky bag the other night and I noticed in the instructions in the bag itself it mentioned a deflector that would be popped in when you took the panels out. It said something to the affect of only being available to certain markets. I can't recall if it had a part number or not but I was really considering asking the dealership about it.

Yeah it looks like a whole peice that pops in place when you take the panels out. It probably is for Europe like FireHawk said. I tried uploading the pic I took but it's too large. But take a quick look in the bag.

Datson/Nissan Z cars had t-tops. Loved my 280ZX. So, when I saw the MySky option I had to go for it. No regrets here!
