For the Thule Aeroblades, has anybody confirmed for sure that they WILL work with the powered MySky? I want those crossbars in particular, and would love to run a small rack, but I cant lose function of my powered roof because I love that thing, use it almost everyday.

Every Renegade I have seen them on so far have been the solid roof models.

How do you like the Rhino Stealth bars? They look very similar to the Thule Aeroblades, and are about $20-30 cheaper a piece. Are they pretty quiet, and do they have available locks?

I am currently running Thule Aeroblades but they aren't the flush mounted ones like the ones WOL installed on his renny. I had a concern that the flush mounted aeroblades would cause a problem with the MySky roof so I went the blades that are mounted to foot packs allowing more space for the retractable roof and panels. So far I haven't experienced any issues and there is plenty of clearance for the MySky roof. Hope that helps.

Part #? Pictures?? Not flush mounted, so the ones that sit above the rails themselves? Im looking to the the super low profile ones, and aside from having Rackoutfitters fit them, I wanna be sure before another 400$+ is spent!

I wasn't aware that you could mount them on risers, that is definitely an option. To me the appeal of them is that they are flush mounted though, so the risers kind of defeat the purpose for me personally. Thanks for the info though, always good to know if I decide to stick with the Aeroblades.

Interested in this as well. Not necessarily Aeroblades but any more flush mounted system with MySky.

Sorry for the swarm of pictures but I wanted to give y'all an idea of what the AeroBlades looked like for those who are weighing their options. As you can see it looks like the front panel rises up past the factory side rails a little bit when it is retracted and I would assume it would cause problems for the flush-mounted style cross rails--but I can't say for sure. This is the first time I have actually inspected how much clearance there actually is and I'm glad I went with the set up I have because I use the MySky almost everyday as well. I personally like the way they look and I guess it's just a matter of personal preference. Hope this helps!

    The Part #'s are:
#ARB53 (Thule AeroBlade Load Bar Pair)
#450 R (Thule Rapid Crossroad Railing Foot Pack)
    Thule 544 Lock Cylinders

No worries on the pictures man, thanks a lot. I like being able to see how they look from every angle, and those pics give a better idea of how tight the space would be under a rack if I went with the flush mounted AeroBlades.

I may be able to space the crossbars just enough to use the powered roof, but I don't see any way of being able to remove the panels entirely with a basket mounted on top. Just doesn't look like there will be room under there.

I'm thinking that as well Firehawk. I'm considering using a basket when traveling. Or when I'm transferring tires around. But keep the basket off when I wanna pop the panels off... Eventually I'll have Rackoutfitters test for and I'll try my power front and make sure it clears.. I prefer the flush mounted, not the top of rail option

Sounds about like what I was thinking. Let me know if you ever try it out, im still looking into doing a basket but it will be awhile. I just ordered the DayStar lift last week and am saving for tires before I do anything else.

I bought $60 eBay whispbar knockoffs and a Rola rack for $140. I plastidipped the rails to they wouldn't stick out like a sore thumb, and voila! I think it turned out pretty nice. I'm addicted to buying things for my Renny.....

No, I don't. I will say that these rails only give about 1.5 inches of clearance, if that helps.

Do you have any pictures of this setup that shows how much clearance there is between the bottom of the basket mounts and the roof? I want this same setup, but Im thinking its not going to work with the MySky sunroof. Im not worried about taking the panels out but I still want to be able to open the sunroof with the basket on.
