We have MySky, and use 60" corbars and towers for kayaks. The wind noise is "f-ing obnoxious" (direct quote). Wasn't an issue on the 05 Pilot the rack came off of. I'm thinking we'll end up getting the aerodynamic bars soon. Sent from my SM-G935V using ToasterJeep mobile app

Scroll thru this thread and you will see examples of fairings that are attached to the front bars as well fairings attached to the baskets themselves. Thule makes fairings that should fit your setup.
Yakima makes a faring that mounts on your front bar regardless of style, they're sold by width, I had one on my previous rack system which had the old round bars and my new one has the Core bars. Also, usually pushing the system towards the rear helps get it out of the turbulence caused by your windshield. Here is the fairing on my round bars. Round bars without the fairing are usually pretty noisy, the noise is just about non existent with this setup. My fairing is 38" wide.
Im getting the 50" that was what I was told to use with the timberline towers for the Renny.... maybe the problem is the 60"? The Corebars are supposed to be the quiet solution to crossbar noise.... they are designed and crafted that way... so I think its the best choice out there if you are worried about noise the Thule Aeroblades are supposed to be a similar product ,both companies will boast being more quiet than the other.... I personally liked the Yakima better...

If you have Mysky you'll be hearing anything up there with the panels open, but keeping the setup back from the windshield a bit should help... you're trying to avoid the turbulent air coming off the windshield, kinda like drafting off a semi - the wind blows you around until you get in the sweet spot right behind the trailer and there's no wind. I think that may be what's causing it. I carry boats, so i wanted the bars spaced further apart. I set them up as far forward as i could. Also, i said corebars. This is a pic of my rack before I put the extension in, it needs to be back a bit to avoid excess noise, and if you're getting a low frequency rumble off the roof a fairing on the front cross bar will stop that but you'll trade for a softer whir. Realistically you'll never find a silent system, just not obnoxious... The core bars are aerodynamic and somewhat quieter than the older round bars on their own but I don't know that they'd be so much better if you bought new ones, especially once you put accessories and gear up there. I have had Yakima round bars on a number of vehicles and they all needed the fairing to quiet them down. The fairing does it's job.
