Got this email update today We have just finished the prototypes of a winch mount, rock sliders, brush bar (non-winch), and a pre-runner style skid plate. They should be on our site within the next few days. The winch mount, brush bar, and skid plate are all 100% bolt on. The winch mount and brush bar have integrated light mounts. Most people would be able to do it in less than 15 minutes (other than wiring a winch). The rock sliders require some drilling, but very easy to do. We're looking at roof rack possibilities right now although due to the way that the factory roof rails attach to the roof it is proving to be a bit of a challenge. We want to be able to put a couple hundred pounds of weight on the rack which is more than the factory plastic roof rails can handle. We've got some ideas.
That's great news! Thanks for the update. Can't wait to see what everything looks like so that I can decide whether or not to send some money their way
Just got a message from them and was told that they've finished the rock sliders and are working on the pricing for them. They're hoping to have them available for purchase in the next week or two. I should also note that I was told they will be built to order and will take about 2-3 weeks to get from the time your order is placed.
Weird. Pic doesn't show up in the app, but shows up in web view. Would these be applicable to all models?
On the Rocky Road Lift Kit they are saying it will be a little over 2”, anyone know or have thoughts if this will cause issues with Jeep Nazi’s at the dealership with a flag or warranty issue?
Unless you're willing to break out the grinder and clear off some of suspension components, it won't work or at least, not on a Trailhawk. There are other issues as well but if they can figure it out and offer up kit that required replacement of parts and some cutting and welding, I'd be interested in seeing it.
Good to know, got a quote of the Daystar 1.5 lift part and install for $699 by local DFW Daystar dealer/shop, but since mine probably wont be delivered for a few months I guess I have some time to figure out which one to go with when my Sport arrives - hopefully by March.
Yea, it ended up being under 2" due to the front struts hitting the CV axel. I'm the lucky guy who's jeep they are working on. I can take detailed pics when I pick it up this Saturday.
My understanding is that they are in house (hence that they are more the 1.5" of lift) but I'm not sure why they are showing Daystar's pictures on their website...
I am going to be taking mine into the dealership real soon due to a problem with my tranny (I believe). So if there are any warranty issues i'm sure I'll hear about it.
Hey Sgt_Strife, if you don't want to wear out your welcome here, I'd be grateful if you'd refrain from answering questions regarding Rocky Road like you're some kind of rep for them. I think it's great that you were able to get all their parts in exchange for letting them use your Jeep but you're really pushing the limits here.
