Hello everyone. My wife owns a 2015 Renegade Latitude and she has been having continual issues with the rear hatch unlocking itself when she shuts it. This occurs almost every time she returns to her vehicle from biking, unlocks the vehicle, open the hatch to put her biking stuff inside, shuts the hatch and it unlocks on its own after a moment or two. The key fob is in her pocket, not in the vehicle. 2nd key fob is at our house, not even close to the vehicle. I was with her yesterday when this happened and after about 15 minutes of attempts, we decided to just drive home with the hatch unlatched. She has had to do so on multiple occasions. I have seen other posts on this forum about the same issue, YouTube videos of the exact same problem, but no resolution mentioned. The Jeep is out of warranty so we would rather not pay dealership service rates if it is simply a matter of replacing the buttons in the hatch door or some other basic fix. Has anyone seen a resolution to this issue?
