Welcome to the forum, you will find a lot of good info here. There is a member here (IDoMyOwnRacing) who has intalled that bumper on his Renegade. He is very knowledgable and has answered many questions users have had. He is here frequently. Post some pictures when you get a chance.

    W E L C O M E ! ! ! to the forum.

What I did was... You should have received a license plate mount and a license plate light with the kit.

At around post #3 and #12, you can see where I mounted the license plate light (the way it was intended to be located from AVID). I didn't like the way it looked there, so I relocated it to the left rear panel. I removed the left rear quarter panel and molded the license plate so that it wrapped around and matched the shape of the quarter panel. I mounted the license plate light just above the license plate. I used the wires for the license plate from the original license plate light. I figured, I had to take the lift gate panel apart to get to the camera, might as well use the license plate light power source for the license plate light.

**Tip: do not cut the wires from the original license plate light. If you do, you will get a 'License Plate Bulb Out' error message. In stead, tap into the license plate light wires to avoid the error message.

Post #12 talks about the camera.

On this post, you can see where the license plate is now.

I don't have a good picture for you.
I installed mud flaps over them to help keep mud, rain and road debris from getting in up behind the bumper area.

But, those two plate mount on the inside outer corners (tire side) of the rear bumper. I believe that only 3 bolt are used to secure it in place.

In the attached pics, the mud flaps are covering the plate. I used 2 of the mounting hold in the plates to secure the mud flap.
