It is a long story but here is the new Jeep, a 2020 Wrangler JL 2 door Sport S in Graphite Crystal. My nephew will now own my Renegade but I will still have the chance to drive it if necessary. It will still be part of the family and that is good. I have wanted a Wrangler for many, many years and it was time to do it.

Let the modding begin! You've got a great starting point there...

Yes I will be around, I enjoy the forum and like the Renegades very much. I am not an expert on the mechanics but I have a lot of experience driving the Renegade and can be helpful at times answering questions. I will still have the opportunity to drive my old Renegade which is good. A Wrangler has been my dream for a long time and I had recently gone thru a life threatening event that made me and my family realize that life is too short.

I won't really be doing any mods to it, kind of old for that. I intend to do most of my off-roading on the beach fishing. But I do need to get new roof crossbars, gutter mount vs rail mount so I can put my fishing pole rack on. I am surprised how solid and quiet the Wrangler is.

I didn't get running boards for it and have seen a video on how to install them. It looks simple and I will be doing that. The hard part will be getting up off the ground . :p
