Hello everyone, I am helping my kid out with her 2017 Renegade. We made a deal. If she was willing to buy a car at auction, save a few dollars because the car needed some work, and was willing to help turn wrenches, I would help pay for it. We purchased a 2017 Renegade with obvious engine issues. We are removing the engine have everything disconnected - except the drive shaft (the one going to the back of the car). I have been told (by a Chrysler mechanic).that it is simply held in place with a snap ring - and that it will just pop out of the back of the transmission. I cannot seem to get it to come loose - and its not like there is a lot of room to get a pry bar up in there. Does anyone have experience with this? thanks!
