Was the overall length 42"? Do you have a link? I have been looking but the 42" lights have an overall length of 44" unless I find a 40" with an overall of 42".

from the edge of the part that the bolt goes through to the same spot on the other side was 42 exactly. I got mine locally but a lot of amazon and ebay lights have the schematic of all the dimensions I found...

I ran the wire down underneath the roof rail like @wayoflife did on his write up. Then into the cab through some panels and headliner and into the driver A pillar. #Daystar said their switch pod should be available next week. Then Ill wire the lights into that.

    Thanks for the flowers guys.

I love the look. I just mounted the light bar up top. Can I see the mounts you made for the pods?

How did you run the wires for the lights. In particular the roof led how did you run the wire to the engine compartment? Did you drill into the roof or run it down the small gutter on the edge of the windshield?

Not sure if I say it here or jeeprenegadeforum but there is a write up a guy did about running the wires down underneath the roof rail, into the hatch and through the taillight for a completely drill free install. A bit of work, but 99.9% hidden wires and no modifications. Perfect
