This last Friday I took my son up to the Manzano Mountains in Central New Mexico. I met a hill I couldn't get up. Disclaimer THIS WAS NOT THE FAULT OF MY JEEP. This was purely operator error. I was in a bit of time crunch and needed to get my boy back to town for a birthday party. I didn't disconnect the sway bar links. I was running full tire pressure. I could've built up to the ledge I was caught on. The biggest issue was traction. I was rocking back and forth on 2 wheels, the front left and back right. I decided to back up after trying for 5 minutes and go on some more of the muddier trails. I plan on going back in a few weeks and giving it a better run at it. Making memories with my boy. At this point in my life, this is what it's all about. ...the finished product by the time we got home... All in all these are capable vehicles off road. I was surprised how well I was able to get through some of the muddiest areas there.
