Alright looking for some insight, any help is appreciated. Recently just installed Rough Country lift with Eibach springs, took it for alignment today and my front driver side has a noise coming from it. Its hard to explain, like a clicking? Almost like a super faint sound as if you put a playing card in a bicycle wheel Can hear it inside the car but nothing from outside. Anyone have any ideas what it could be? I’m leaning towards the axle having too much load on it. It also shakes the steering wheel and amplifies the sound when accelerating quickly from a stop. Someone told me they had the same problem and took out the springs and it stopped.

Two possibilities come to mind, the most likely is the bottom of the struts wasn't trimmed, or wasn't trimmed far enough, (Step 16 and 17 from the instructions)

That will let the strut hit the axle.. Look at the bottom of the strut and make sure it doesn't hit the axle anywhere in the travel of the steering left to right.

The other possibility is that one of the CV joints is going out, which is also a common issue with a lifted Renegade.

thanks for your response! I trimmed the strut and its clear of the axle. From talking to others it seems to be the amount of pressure or angle of the axle. Very frustrating to have to deal with

Yeah the amount of lift you get with both the spacer lift and the springs does put the front axles at pretty much the extreme of what they can handle.. And it can lead to clicking from the outer CV and Inner Tri-Pod joints in the front.

Add some weight to the front, a Rocky Road winch bumper and winch outta bring it down about half an inch and solve the problem :D
