Hi from SW Florida. Back in December of 2018 my wife and I purchased a new 2018 Jeep renegade latitude for her, but 10 months later it wound up becoming my daily driver. After driving it for a month I knew I wanted to lift it. I was used to driving a 2004 Chevy Silverado. So after reading a lot of the post on here about lifts I decided to go with the teraflex 1.5” lift and the eibach springs. I did the install myself in my driveway and it took all day on a Saturday, about 10 hours from start to finish. The following Monday I took it to the dealer where we bought it to have it aligned. They charge $90 for an alignment but because of the modifications said they had to change me twice the cost. So $180. In the end I guess I was okay with that because they spent all day on it but managed to get everything in the green. I’m really happy with the decision to install the lift and springs and plan on getting some tires eventually.
I know, long post for my first. But I’m looking forward to poking around the site and learning what else I can add/modify over time.
Here are some before and after pics. Sorry for the exposure on the after. Sun was in a different spot

    W E L C O M E ! ! ! to the forum.

Glad you are happy with the lift and the way it turned out, Looks really good btw.

I still can't believe that they charged you double for the alignment. You didn't make it any harder on them by lifting it...
Here in the 'Screw you' state (cali) I was only charged for a 4-wheel alignment, and I did a 4 inch lift.

Looks good, thanks for posting pictures. :)

good lookin jeep you got! similar story for me too, wife bought it and became my dd. I got the same when quoting alignment after the lift. for some reason, they claimed the jeep was going to require a lot more to do, funny because it’s nothing different than a normal alignment. ended up having the tire guys do it & paid the premium for free alignments for 3 years. have had 2 done since install (1000mi) 3 if you count fixing the piss-poor job the second location did. the guy sent me off with front to rear tires looking like this / \ “best our machine could do”
    anyways, hello from Los Angeles!
