Hi Everyone! Hello from the La Grande and Baker City area of Eastern Oregon. I work at a local FCA dealership and I am a long time Jeep owner. I own a 2018 Renegade Trailhawk and previously had a 2015 Trailhawk. Additionally I have owned a 2011 Wrangler JKU with a modified suspension, several XJs, and a CJ. I love off-roading, motorcycling, RC Airplanes, Auto Racing, and Ham radio.

Out here the Renegade is EXTREMELY popular, we sell a LOT of them, and the are everywhere. Sadly most of those fellow jeepers don't wave and give you a weird or nasty look when you wave at them. I've been told that being friendly is 'creepy' and 'outdated' but I still do it anyway, the same as I wave to other bikers on the road no matter what they ride!

Welcome and congratulations on your 2018, you must have like the 2015 to get another one. It looks like you have enough interests to keep busy. I know what you mean about the wave, not many will wave or respond. I have had a few Wrangler drivers wave lately, seems weird.

    Hi Dgr401,

Thank you for the reply. I loved my 2015, it got us through a winter worse than any on record in the area. It wasn't lifted but I managed to get 235/65/17 Schwabs XTXs under it and it performed even better than expected. I've noticed that if anyone *IS* going to wave, it's wrangler operators.
