I intended for my 2nd mod to be a set of all-terrain tires (BF Goodrich KM2's anyone?), but it looks like I'll be getting new paint first.

Hailstorm did over $5,000 worth of damage, and my insurance company is footing the bill for new paint. I'm considering asking the guys at the body shop about a flat black finish instead of the gloss black that came stock on my Trailhawk.

    Would that be completely insane?

Oddly, it didn't occur to me to take any pics. I typically photograph things I'd like to look back on and remember. This hail damage is something I'd just as soon forget.

I chickened out at the last minute and bailed on the flat black finish. I didn't feel strongly enough about it to commit to something that would be that expensive to undo. I'm sticking with the stock glossy black finish for now.

I've found a company nearby that can do a sharp looking matte black vehicle wrap if I ever change my mind. Has anyone on the forum ever worked with Zilla Wraps ( http://zillawraps.com/) before? If you have, I'd like to know what you think. Here's a pic of a Wrangler they've done in the 3M matte black wrap I would consider for my Renegade Trailhawk.

For now, the search continues for a good set of all terrain tires that will fit the stock wheel.

Going with a wrap is an excellent idea and something I have seen done many times. It'll look great.
