Seems that one of the first things everyone wants to do is put bigger tires on their Renegade including myself. But has anyone asked what would happen if you have a flat? So your out some cruising with your 29" or 30" AT's and you get a flat. So you go to put on your spare 28" tire. Was wondering how's that going effect the drive train ? Seems to me I've read somewhere that your not suppose to put different size tires on you 4x4. Anyone have any thoughts on that. Wonder if it would be ok for a few mi.'s Just to limp it home like that or to the nearest tire center.
Most of us have the runflat kit not a spare. You could get yourself a full sized spare and through it in a roof rack (roof rack sold separately). I would not drive on tires that mismatched.
Yeah I thought about that. But I have the My Sky and I love my open air drive time. Looks like I'll be investing in a run flat kit.
