Any of you guys heard of having to replace the top of the air box for any reason? I just got the Jeep and while driving the CEL came on. I scanned it, my co worker scanned it, O'really auto parts scanned it. Apparently the codes it threw were manufacturer specific. Took it the dealer here in town and I'm being told that it needs a purge solenoid and a lid. I can understand the solenoid. EVAP systems are a pain. But the lid... dafuq? Anyone else ever come across an issue with them? 2016 1.4L, 6 speed.
First time I've heard of it, but if it was warped/bent (could be from the Factory) I can see where it would cause emissions related problems...
