Picked up a used 2016 Trailhawk and it's hasn't even been a week before I had to change something. Because it's used the dealership changed out the original all terrains for all seasons and that just won't do. Ordered a set of Master craft Courier AXTs in 235/65 r17, which I am hoping will fit without modification. Pretty sure I've seen others on the forum do it, so here's hoping.

Call me crazy but not 100% sure I want to do a lift yet, and this seemed like the largest size that should fit without one. Also hoping to get a set of avid bumpers if the contour ever comes back in stock. I'll try to take before and after pictures and report back how it goes.

Well. Got the tires put on today. I love the look. They just barely fit. Anything larger would definitely need a lift and/or spacers.

These Courser AXTs have a total diameter of 29.19 on paper. But I don't have any rubbing as far as I can tell. No modifications at all just bolted right on with the stock 17in wheels. There is some more road noise, but I didn't think it was to bad. It also looks like a lost a few mpg. I was averaging somewhere between 24-26 on the drive home (about 30 minutes of highway driving) according to the computer. I've got a long road trip planned in a few weeks. I'll do the math manually for a few tanks to see if that's correct.

So far, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

They fill out the wheel wells nicely! I have the same size of Atturo Trail Blades getting put on next week along with a lift and springs.
