Hey guys, I traded out my stock 215/60R17 Linglong Crosswind tires to the BFG's.after thorough research from this forum and a FB Jeep group. I need some info on deep snow use, plowed and unplowed driving conditions. I have read several comments after I installed my tires, that they are useless in snow. Of course I never got enough snow cover to test them out myself. Can anyone who has had these tires, provide some honest information of their own experience with these tires? I have a 2017 Latitude 4wd.

I have 255/75R16 BFG KO2 tires on mine. They do just fine in the snow. I drive in plowed and un-plowed snow here in Wisconsin. Remember to lower your tire pressure for extra traction if needed. When the snow is real heavy, I keep it in "mud" mode on the four wheel drive selector. If you use the "snow" mode, it will rob power when the wheels slip. This is only good if you are super paranoid about sliding off the road.

The people that don't like these tires in snow are usually blizzak fanboys. Blizzak tires are great in snow, but I found the BFG tires to be better all around and fairly decent in snow.

Thank you for your feedback, I read a bunch of reviews before purchasing, I had my eye on the Geolander A/T's also, but went with the BFG's instead, and since I put them on my Renegade I had a few remarks about them being MUD tires only. I appreciate the tip about putting it in mud mode also, we can get a lot of snow, and usually the state roads are plowed, but my town streets are done later and I have to drive quite a bit before I get to the plowed ones.

BFG All Terrain T/A KO2 is in no way a mud tire. far from it. it's a severe snow service rated all terrain.
It is a very good tire in snow, great traction for plowing. it's ok on ice, but not great. It is winter rated, but it's no comparison to a dedicated snow tire
You should have no issues with the BFG, it's a great tire, and with the Renegade's awesome AWD system, you shouldn't have any issues in the winter, this is coming from a Northern Ontario resident... trust me, I know snow..... mid April and we are about to get over a foot of snow this weekend.... play time in the Renegade!

Thank you, I got the MUD tire comment from a co-worker, and I took his comment with skeptism, I know there are BFG Mud tires, just wanted to make sure I got the correct ones!!!
