Did you get this info about stopping distance, rolling resistance from personal experience? Or actual recommendation from someone? Fire stones are sub par when it comes to actual real world tests. BFG is made by Michelin. Both of which are produced with more tech and better quality control than Bridgestone/Firestone. If you want stopping performance, you should look at a Defender tire, or the premier line. If you want less rolling resistance, check out the latitude, both from Michelin. I have been selling tires for almost 9 years, and just know a lot about the industry in general as I've been around it for a little while. Going to a 235/60 you're going to be shorter than the already fitted 225/65/17. Unless you don't want an all terrain tire, get a road friendly option if you want good stopping/comfortable ride. I suggest a 225/65/17 Nitto crosstek CUV.
might be an old post, but you obviously don't know as much as you think you do about tire. firestone sub par in real world tests....lol Bridgestone/Firestone have less tech and QC....seriously. lol if you work in the tie industry, you would know better. each brand has some top notch tires and they all have garbage.
