Looking at both lightly used and new 2018 and 2019 Trailhawks...what would you choose and why? Here's sort of the pros/cons as I see it....

    2019:

    Pros:
More powerful engine (although some say it doesn't drive much different?)
Better crawl ratio (21:1 versus 20:1)

    Cons:
Price (to come in at 24ish, might have to skip leather, tow package, etc)
Worse MPG on the highway (90% of my driving), 27 vs 29
Reliability of the new 1.3T (just haven't heard much about it good or bad)

    2018:

    Pros:
    Better MPG
Price - can get more options for my price range
Likely get certified - so longer warranty

    Cons:
    Less power
    Worse Crawl ratio

    Thanks!

Go look at them both in person and go with the one that grabs you.

On paper they aren't that much different.

    21:1 vs 20:1 = 5% difference
27 vs 29 = 7%, driving style is going to dictate...
    2.4L/180-hp/175-lb-ft SOHC 16-valve I-4;
    1.3L/177-hp/200-lb-ft turbocharged SOHC 16-valve I-4 (I do like my turbo's). lol

I would go with the one that grabbed me.
