As mentioned, the Mopar lift IS the Daystar lift. I know the senior designer at Jeep personally and had he not verified as much, a simple look at the spacers on their Renegades will show that they have Daystar part numbers on them. It should be noted that NONE of these lifts are true 2". They are close but not exact.

Awesome, good to know. So any mention of having a "factory" MOPAR lift once DayStar gets the kinks worked out?

Any "factory" lift will still be made by Daystar just like every Mopar part is made by other manufacturers. The soft top on a Wrangler is made by Bestop, the lift kits and rear tire carrier on a Wranlger is now made by TeraFlex but used to be made by Rubicon Express, their winches are made by WARN, etc.

I gotcha on the manufacturer part, I just mean do you think it will be available to purchase through MOPAR in the future?

Hard to say for sure but more than likely. I just don't know why you'd want to pay more for it just to have the "Mopar" name with it.

I wouldn't want to pay more obviously, I just wondered for those people out there that have really strict dealerships that may hassle them if their equipment wasn't "factory MOPAR" stuff. My dealer seems pretty cool about all kinds of mods, so it wont be a problem for me personally.

Not all MOPAR products are dealership warranty friendly. A friend of mine had a MOPAR cold air intake installed on his 2013 JK - by a dealership. He had engine issues, total failure. Chrysler blamed it on his MOPAR intake. Dirt in the throttle body. They would not warranty his engine.

Yup, Russ got the shaft. Totally lame especially being that his dealership installed the CAI.

Wow, yea that definitely sucks. Thanks for the heads up. My experiences with Ford and aftermarket stuff were pretty positive as long as they were installed by an authorized installer.

Wow, I would have thought having the MOPAR name would have made a difference.

The only thing that makes a difference is your relationship with your dealership. If you do business with them like get regular oil changes and the like, they will most likely bend over backward to keep you happy REGARDLESS of what products you have installed on your Renegade.

Looks awesome. But I'm wondering... That looks like a "total lift" of 3", so that may be 1.5" of lift and 1.5" of larger tires, etc.

Hoping it's not... But kind of worried it is...

There's a conpany out of Sweden I believe I saw, a while ago, that was offering spacer lifts for the Rene. It was available in a few different sizes, and could be 'stacked'. Total overall lift with them (600+) would be about 2.5". I definitely can't remember where I saw it, it was a link off a link. Maybe Gforce is combining products with their help? Pure speculation
