Hi guys. I have a 2015 Latitude and the tires that came on it are so...boring. I know little to nothing about tire sizes, spacers and all that stuff. I just want a more aggressive looking tire. Possibly a little bigger without changing the rims, and not needing a lift or spacers. Suggestions? Help? Thanks
There are a few tire threads on the forum, lets start with welcome to toaster, and what is your rim size?
Thank you 16" Rims. I've read most of the forums but everyone is talking about lifts and spacers??? So confusing. I don't want to get in to all that. Just looking for a better looking (more aggressive) tire.
what is the stock size 215/65/16? If so the KO2 should fit without issue. You have a lot of options on the 16" wheel actually General grabbers as well. The Toyo Geolander also comes to mind
Yes, 215/65/16. Can the "215" or "65" be changed? And what difference does that make in the tire? I'm sorry if these are ridiculous questions...I'm really clueless about this kind of stuff
Do you have any rims in mind that you like the look of? We can start there and see if we can find one in a 16" with the proper bolt pattern. Tires can be a bit tricker because even though the numbers on the side are the same they can be slightly different based on the brands.
I don't mind the ones that are currently on it. Although maybe some plain steel ones would look better.
Tire expert pet peeve : wrong tire wrong brand. Yokohama Geolander. Yokohama. Toyo does open country, mud country. I dont sell toyos, so just a little biased Now, with the 16" wheel you have tons of options available. Bf Goodrich will be the most aggressive all terrain available. And a few different sizes to choose from with that 16".
I believe there are a few people running 225/70-16 Hankook ATM off-road tires on 16" non-TH with stock ride height and no spacers. They look pretty good and a bit cheaper than the ko2 and a nice alternative if you're not doing any "pushing the limits of a renegade" off-roading.
