After reading up on everything.. what do you people suggest I do at the dealership regarding... updates and what not, should I ask them to run all software/flash updates before leaving the lot? Also I noticed the cars on the lot all come with falkens H/T tires and no All Terrain tires like the sticker/website says. Procedure on how to bring that up? Should I factor that into my asking price or should I ask them to replace them? Also what size KO2 or Geolander All terrain tires can fit on stock 17" rims without a spacer/lift 225/65/17?(I do plan on those in the future since I like the wider look) (I also would like the replacement tires not require me to do a seam mod or whatever after getting a lift/spacer installed) Anything else I should keep in mind at the dealership tomorrow? I am so excited haha, I'll take all suggestions and tips! Thanks
If I had it to do again, I'd try to negotiate adding a tow hitch. My TrailHawk didn't have one. I added an aftermarket hitch but a factory hitch would look cleaner. Other things to shoot for: Tonneau cover Matching spare wheel/tire
^ do they have these as an option in the US? Ive never seen one and I would have liked to have had it on mine if it was an option.
The tow hitch and tonneau cover are available via Mopar. The cover requires mounting points that need to be installed at the factory, but could probably be done at the dealer. The matching spare was standard when the TrailHawk's were first advertised/released. http://www.motortrend.com/news/2015-jeep-renegade-trailhawk-first-test/
Dang, wish I could have gotten the tonneau. The windows are tinted though, and pretty small so its semi dark in the back area but you could still see valuables if they were in there during the day. I got shafted on the matching spare too, so I know what you mean. I have the factory hitch, and even got shafted on the rubber hitch cover.
i got all options except my sky so that included cover and full size spare but not matching rim, no hitch cover either . i would try to negotiate some oil changes, jeep requires synthetic and its pricey. i tried and got nothing though.
I got pretty much all of the options including MySky, never saw the tonneau mentioned anywhere, oh well. My dealer did however give me free tint on the front windows, and 4 free oil changes which is a big deal because the oil is pretty pricey. They also let their customers run their vehicle through the car wash any time they need it.
Also I just now see that you are in Canada, that may be the difference in the tonneau cover option for you as it is available overseas as well.
